Can Gemini access your Gmail, Drive and Calendar?

Short answer

Yes, once you connect the Google Workspace app. Gemini can then summarize and find information in Gmail, Google Docs and Drive, create and manage Google Calendar events, and read and add Google Keep notes and Google Tasks. It can't open pictures or videos stored in Drive or manage Drive itself, such as creating folders. Keep Activity and Gmail's "smart features in other Google products" setting must be on, and on work or school accounts an admin has to allow it first.

Why it matters

Answers are scattered across email, documents and calendar, and searching each app separately takes longer than asking one question.
