How we label what is real
Every capability and every robot gets one of five labels. A label only changes when we can point to a dated source, and every change is logged publicly.
The five labels
| In stores | You can buy it today, and it does what we say. |
| Coming soon | Officially announced, not shipping yet. |
| Demo stage | Shown in demos or tests. Not something you can rely on yet. |
| Concept | An idea or rendering. No product yet. |
| Wished for | People want it. Nobody has built it. |
Sources
We prefer first-party documents (product pages, release notes, filings) and independent hands-on reporting. We summarize sources in our own words and link to the original. A demo video alone never earns Available.
Scanners
Automated scanners watch official pages and release notes and flag changes. A flagged change is a signal, not a fact. Signals are reviewed by a person before any label changes.
Corrections
When we get something wrong, we fix it and record the correction with a date.
Affiliate disclosure
Some links to products you can buy may earn us a commission. Commissions never change a label. Robots that are not Available never get a buy link.
