Can you get smart glasses with transition lenses?
Short answer
Yes. Meta Ray-Ban Display comes with Transitions lenses as standard, so the same pair works indoors and in sunlight. On the display-free Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 2), Transitions is a lens option that raises the price: Tom's Guide lists one Wayfarer with Transitions lenses at $459, against a $379 starting price. Samsung's announcement of its Gemini glasses mentions only "lens options", with no word on Transitions.

Why it matters
Camera glasses are worn outside a lot, and swapping between sunglasses and clear glasses defeats the point of wearing one smart pair all day.
Not proven yet
How quickly the lenses darken and clear, and whether they get dark enough to replace sunglasses; we haven't found a test of either model's Transitions lenses.
