Which iPhones get Siri AI?
Short answer
Siri AI needs an iPhone that supports Apple Intelligence: iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max, every iPhone 16 model (including 16e), the whole iPhone 17 line (17, 17e, Air, 17 Pro, 17 Pro Max), iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max, and iPhone Duo. The regular iPhone 15 and 15 Plus, iPhone 14 and older aren't on Apple's list, so they keep the older Siri. Siri AI is a beta in iOS 27 and isn't on iPhone in the EU yet.
Which products can do it?
- Apple iPhone 17Yes
iPhone 17 (A19) is on Apple's list of Apple Intelligence devices, so it runs Siri AI in iOS 27.
Good to know: Beta. The iPhone must be set to a supported language; not available in the EU on iPhone, or to users under 13.
- Apple iPhone 18 ProYes
iPhone 18 Pro (A20 Pro) is on Apple's Apple Intelligence device list and runs Siri AI.
Good to know: Beta; features vary by language and region, and Siri AI isn't on iPhone in the EU yet.
Why it matters
Siri AI arrives as a software update, so owners of older iPhones want to know whether their phone gets it or whether they need a new one.
Not proven yet
Whether Apple will ever bring Siri AI to iPhones outside its Apple Intelligence list; Apple hasn't said.
