What languages does Siri AI speak?
Short answer
As of Oct 26, 2026, Siri AI works in English, French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish on iPhones with Apple Intelligence, including iPhone 17 and iPhone 18 Pro, after the iOS 27.2 update. Apple plans Chinese (traditional), Norwegian, Turkish and Vietnamese by the end of the year. It isn't available on iPhone in the EU yet.

Apple Newsroom, "Siri AI is available in more languages starting today" (read Oct 27, 2026): with the 27.2 updates, Siri AI adds French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish, with Chinese (traditional), Norwegian, Turkish and Vietnamese planned by the end of the year. Siri AI is in beta in iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS and visionOS 27.2 and needs an Apple Intelligence-enabled device set to a supported language. Not available in the EU on iOS, iPadOS and watchOS, nor to users under 13. Some server-based features, including Siri AI, have daily usage limits; Apple says expanded access will be offered for a fee in the future.
