Dreame X50 Ultra vs Eufy Omni S2 Pro

3 questions both answer, side by side. Every answer is backed by the dated sources at the bottom.

Side by side: where the details differ

Can a robot vacuum get over high door thresholds?

X50 Ultra
Yes

The X50 Ultra climbs over raised thresholds on its own; Dreame quotes up to 6 cm.

Good to know: One threshold in a hands-on review only worked after it was marked passable in the app.

Omni S2 Pro
Yes

Eufy says the Omni S2 Pro crosses two-tier thresholds up to 2.76 inches (about 70 mm) and single-tier thresholds up to 1.38 inches (about 35 mm).

Good to know: Maker's spec, not tested. $1,699.99; Eufy's page said on Nov 3, 2026 that new orders ship around Nov 5.

Can a robot vacuum keep its wet mop off the carpet?

X50 Ultra
Yes

The Dreame X50 Ultra lifts its mop pads 10 mm on carpet and can leave them at the dock.

Good to know: Listed spec, not measured.

Omni S2 Pro
Yes

Eufy says the Omni S2 Pro lifts its roller mop 0.59 inches (about 15 mm) when it detects carpet, then vacuums without mopping.

Good to know: Maker's spec. Less lift than the 28 mm listed for the Omni S2, and the roller stays on the robot.

Does a robot vacuum work with Alexa, Google or Siri?

X50 Ultra
Yes

Dreame lists the X50 Ultra with Matter support and with Alexa, Google Home and Siri.

Good to know: Dreame's Australian page; we haven't found a US page that says the same. You need a device with that assistant.

Omni S2 Pro
Yes

Eufy says the Omni S2 Pro takes voice commands and supports Siri, Alexa and Google Home.

Good to know: Maker's US page; it doesn't say which commands work and doesn't mention Matter.

Can a robot vacuum clean in the dark?

X50 Ultra
Yes

Dreame says the X50 Ultra's built-in LED lights switch on in dim conditions, such as at night or in low, dark spots, to help it spot obstacles early.

Good to know: Maker's description, not a test. It maps with a DToF sensor and avoids small items with a camera and 3D structured light.
